There are Lebanese Americans throughout all of the United States but there are some hot spots where more of them live together. 

Lebanese Americans living in America have resided mostly within Michigan, California, New York, Florida, Ohio, Massachusettes, Texas, Oklahoma, Lousiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Arizona, New Jersey, and Washington. 

“The Arab American Institute reports the top five states where Lebanese Americans reside are: Michigan (11%), California (9%), Ohio (6%), Florida (6%), and Massachusetts (5%). “

To immigrate for employment, it is important to obtain a work visa . Immigrant work visas include the EB-1 and EB-2, both leading to receipt of a Green Card soon after entry. Non-immigrant work visas include the H-1B, L-1, O-1, and E-1, and are temporary. However, if an individual comes to the United States to work with a non-immigrant visa and wishes to become a permanent resident, they may be eligible to change their classification and apply for an immigrant work visa while in the States.
