The Canadian Provincial Nominee Programs are a popular path for fast permanent residency in Canada. Here you will find all the updates and draws to the PNP Streams and Programs. There are currently eleven territories that participate in the Provincial Nominee Program. Each PNP has at least one immigration stream that is aligned with the federal Express Entry immigration selection system. The Express Entry stream of a PNP is the stream aligned with the federal express entry system. Under this stream, Canadian provinces are allowed to select the candidates from the express entry pool and notify them to apply to their Provincial Nominee Program. All eleven territories have draws and updates that will be listed below. British Columbia invited over 130 candidates to apply for provincial nomination through 4 streams of the BCPNP in general draws, plus at least 20 additional invitations for candidates in priority healthcare and childcare occupations. Find out more about the BCPNP July 5 Draws.

Nova Scotia changed the eligibility requirements of the Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry stream so that Post-Graduation Work Permit holders whose work permits were issued based on studies in a province other than Nova Scotia are not eligible.

Nova Scotia announced increased quotas for the Nova Scotia Nominee Program and Atlantic Immigration Program.

Ontario updated the vendor list for review of personal net worth for the OINP Entrepreneur Stream.

Alberta provided an update on the number of Alberta Opportunity Stream applications in process, as well as the number of expressions of interest in the Alberta Express Entry pool.

Manitoba invited 13 candidates through a “special immigration measure” to help those affected by the current events in Ukraine. Manitoba invited MPNP candidates who are citizens of Ukraine, have a valid language test showing a minimum of CLB 4 in each language ability in English or French, have an established connection to MB (close relative, family-like, community, previous employment or studies in Manitoba), and score at least 60 points according to MPNP assessment criteria.

British Columbia will re-open the BC PNP Entrepreneur stream to new applicants in July. The stream has been paused since July 2021. A new application guide will be released when the program re-opens.

Alberta lifts its ‘refusal to process’ list, which was restricting temporary foreign workers in certain occupations from certain immigration programs during the pandemic.

Nova Scotia has invited individuals whose primary occupation is a registered nurse or registered psychiatric nurse. These candiates must have employer references, have a CLB score of 9 or higher with the required level of education. Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) updated it’s requirements for those applying under NOC 7511 (Truck Drivers). Anyone applying with NOC 7511 must have a valid Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) certificate and a Carrier Safety Rating (CSR) of Excellent, Satisfactory or Satisfactory Unaudited.
